Hospitality Management & Entrepreneurship Training

A fast track training program that prepares individuals for both an entry level or management career in hospitality (restaurants, hotels, casinos, grocery stores, airports, events, conventions) as well as entrepreneurship training by assisting those who also have aspirations of starting a food service business (restaurants, food trucks, food carts, catering, pizzeria, café, bar) now or in the near future.

Instituto’s Hospitality Management & Entrepreneurship Training program was created to meet today’s growing multicultural demands by graduating students with a high level of expertise, culture, diversity, skills, and knowledge base to become industry leaders and problems solvers. Our industry approved curriculum from the National Restaurant Association along with our training in the arts, leadership, entrepreneurship, and technology allow individuals to compete and become well rounded in today’s industry needs. Individuals have the luxurious option to create their own career pathway from an entry level position to management, and/or starting a food service business. Safety Track

FoodService Sanitation Manager Certification
This program is designed to offer food handlers and supervisors a basic food science background of food establishments and develop knowledge for the proper handling of food and the unsanitary maintenance. Classes are offered monthly.

ServSafe Alcohol Certification
The program is designed as a certification course designed to train participants on how to serve alcohol responsibly and legally. Classes are offered monthly.

Management Track

ManageFirst Professional Certification
Course participants receive industry-respected training that prepares them to confidently lead and grow the hospitality industry. This management course teaches practical competencies needed to face real-world challenges in the industry, including interpersonal communication, ethics, culinary basics, accounting skills, marketing, and more. Classes are offered monthly.
